## About

I’m Vanessa Baulderstone, founder of Alkira Adina Equestrian and an educator, qualified horse riding instructor and Equine Assisted Learning practitioner.

I help educators, teachers and practitioners learn how to use horses intentionally within experiential learning. My approach is grounded in education, with horses as learning partners and the facilitator creating meaningful opportunities for learning and reflection.

Through Alkira Academy, I support people who want to develop their own Equine Assisted Learning programs, from facilitation and session design through to the practical foundations of building a sustainable business.

I believe you don’t need to be an expert horseperson to become an effective EAL facilitator. You need an understanding of learning, people, horses and how they can work together.

I’m passionate about helping people turn their interest in horses and learning into something they can confidently build and deliver.
