> **Lesson 3 of the Expert Accelerator is Thursday, November 5, at noon ET.** Free, live, open to every member, and you can join any week. [Save your seat here.](https://www.everyexpert.com/events/accelerator)

The first Expert Accelerator session ran Thursday, with members joining from New Jersey to the UK to Barcelona. Most of the hour came back to one idea. The people who could book you are already looking at your profile, your newsletter and your inbox. The work is making sure the link is there when they do.

Below are the moves from the session, each with the steps to run it yourself, then Matthew's walkthrough of setting up your EveryExpert page.

**Prefer to watch?** The edited session runs about 61 minutes: [https://share.descript.com/view/Fn2hjNujCbR](https://share.descript.com/view/Fn2hjNujCbR)

## 1. Sell your judgment, and use AI to get seen.

If you sell what you know, fighting AI is a losing position. Some of my friends have flipped it. A graphic designer tells clients: use AI for the designs if you want, and I'll review what comes out, or show you how to prompt it better. The pitch is that you combine years of experience with AI, so you use it better than they would. People pay for your discernment and your taste.

Then use it to get in front of people. Speaking is my main channel. I asked an LLM to find 20 rooms in New York that welcome speakers, like open mics, masterminds and alumni groups, then had it reach out to all of them on a Saturday. Four said yes within three days.

The same works on social. I asked an LLM to find conversations I should be part of, give me direct links to the posts and suggest a comment I might make. I wasn't asking anyone for anything, and people started sending me connection requests. When I started doing this on X, my videos went from around 50 views to around 1,000.

There's a guardrail, and it matters. Read the post. Only comment when you believe what you're saying. Don't drop a link in every comment.

How to run it:

- Start a project in your LLM and give it everything: your background, who you serve, your goals. Bad input gets you bad output.
- Ask it for 20 groups in your niche that welcome speakers, and have it draft a short request for each offering a 15-minute workshop.
- Ask it to find active conversations in your niche, with links and a suggested comment. Read them, and comment where you have something to add.

## 2. Three LinkedIn quick wins.

Each of these puts your link somewhere people already check.

- **Newsletter.** Put your EveryExpert booking link at the end of your newsletter. This is how I book most of my own calls. People see it every issue, so even if they don't book, they know it's there.
- **Featured.** Add your EveryExpert page to the Featured section of your profile. Then a post can say "link in Featured" instead of carrying the link itself.
- **Away message.** On Premium, set an away message with the link. If someone DMs to pick your brain for free, they get a link to pay you.

Ask yourself: where do people already look for me, and is my link there?

## 3. Send ten notes to people who already know you.

The fastest first booking rarely comes from a stranger. It comes from someone who already trusts you: a past client, a former colleague, anyone who has ever asked for your advice. One member texted 10 or 20 people she knows and made four sales from it.

Referrals are great, but there's hope involved, and hope is not a strategy. Ask on purpose. You'll get some kind of response from each note, even if it's "good luck, can't help."

How to run it:

- Write down ten names. No strangers.
- Use this shape: "I helped [type of person] get [outcome]. If you know anyone who needs that, please share." Add your booking link.
- Send all ten today, and note who replies.

## 4. Matthew's walkthrough: a page a stranger can book.

Matthew Casteel from the EveryExpert team built a page live, start to finish. The short version:

**Your profile.** Under Settings, then Details: a photo, a headline that names who you help and what you help them with, your title and location. You can also edit your profile URL. Record or upload a short intro video right on the platform. Your bio has 1,000 characters, and you can add your website and social links.

**Your first service.** A title, description, length and price. Add pre-session questions, as text, a link or multiple choice, and mark them required if you need the answer before the call. Set your availability and your rescheduling and cancellation rules, and turn on the rebooking prompt so clients get a nudge to book again after a session. New sessions save as drafts, so publish yours, or set it to private and share the direct link.

**Stripe.** You need it connected before the session can take bookings. Set up two-factor, choose your business type, and add your bank. Payouts are manual by default; Matthew set his to daily. Add your name or initials to the statement descriptor so clients recognize the charge. Stripe can collect tax for you; talk to a tax advisor before you turn it on. Verification takes about 15 to 30 minutes after you submit.

**Your calendar.** Connect Google Calendar with read and write access, so bookings land on your calendar on their own. There's no calendar embed for your website, so share the link instead.

**The check.** Copy your booking link and open it in an incognito window. That's what a stranger sees.

Two more features came up in the Q&A:

- **Private links.** Keep a session's price off your public profile and send it straight to one client.
- **Ask.** Clients send a question and you answer with a video, on your time. Useful when clients are in other time zones, or when a day job means you can't take live calls.

## Already have Calendly or another booking tool? Here's where EveryExpert fits.

If you already have a system that works, keep putting most of your effort there. Use EveryExpert to reach people who don't know you yet. Once you have a review or two on your page, it builds trust with them while you're doing other things.

If you're just starting, one member put the appeal well: the client pays and books in one step, the reminders go out on their own, and there's nothing else to set up. Discovery calls can be free on the platform too, with paid packages after.

## Your Lesson 1 homework.

1. Post your EveryExpert page publicly once, on LinkedIn, in your newsletter or on social. We want to feature members who spread the word. An email with the details is coming.
2. Set up the three LinkedIn quick wins.
3. Send your ten notes.

## Go deeper on one move.

## What's next.

Lesson 2 ran on October 29. [Read the Lesson 2 recap](https://www.everyexpert.com/terryrice/articles/lesson-2-recap-one-key-result-one-route-i7366ge): write your OKRs, then pick one route to booked calls.

Lesson 3 is Thursday, November 5, at noon ET: how to turn replies and comments into conversations, and conversations into booked sessions. Matthew joins again, then we open it up for Q&A. It's free, open to every member, and you can join any week.
