Just been handed a bigger team, a new country, or a role you’ve never done before? As an executive and leadership coach, that’s the moment I work with.
I spent 30 years in the energy industry, most of it at Schlumberger. The first part was operations: coiled tubing, stimulation and cementing, leading crews and a business-line P&L across the North Sea, North and West Africa, the Middle East, Russia and the US. The second part was global talent and training. I built SLB's central learning team in Houston from 4 people to 50, accountable for the competency and training systems behind intervention work worldwide.
Now I coach leaders, and I help organizations make training actually change performance. I'm a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and trained at the Center for Executive Coaching (ICF-accredited program; credential hours in progress).
