Steve Davison

I'm a Melbourne-based musician, arranger and music director. Through my roles as an Australian Army Band Officer, director of Troupe, and years as a Musical Director at sea, I know what makes a show work – on the page, in rehearsal and on stage.

How I help:

Performers

• Show concept development
• Arrangement audits so your charts are fit for purpose

Arrangers

• Score and part readability
• Engraving best practice
• Commercial horn and big band voicings

Musicians

• Stage presence
• Working in a professional section
• Where and what to listen to on stage

Music directors and bandleaders

• Running effective rehearsals
• Leadership and fellowship in musical settings

Whether you're building a show, refining your writing or stepping up as a leader, I bring lived experience to help you get there.
