Robert D. Gilchrist, SMP, CHST, is a senior safety and risk management executive with nearly 30 years of experience in corporate risk direction, occupational safety, regulatory compliance, incident investigation, fleet risk, contractor management, and organizational accountability. He serves in a corporate director-level safety and risk leadership role and is the founder of Gilchrist Safety Solutions, LLC.
A Disabled Veteran, Gilchrist served honorably in U.S. Army Intelligence from 1989–1994, where his early safety education and leadership foundation began. His credentials include Safety Management Professional (SMP), Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), OSHA 500, and OSHA 511.
