I help parents understand behavior and neurodivergence. I support parents to teach new behaviors and decrease others.
I help parents and guardians improve their child's communication skills and reduce problem behaviors through personalized assessments and practical strategies. I work with families to develop tailored intervention plans that make real changes at home. I also help parents evaluate their child's current educational/intervention program. As a homeschooler myself I can also help develop a homeschool program.
I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who received my Ph.D. in Special Education, Disabilities and Risk Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. There I worked in the Koegel Autism Center under the supervision of Drs. Robert and Lynn Koegel, founders of PRT. I have worked in the field of applied behavior analysis for over twenty years helping children of varied disabilities.
I taught at the University level for both Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis and provided consultation for families, districts and clinical teams all over the world.
