I help first-time managers at growing companies lead people without letting the business outrun them.

Most first-time managers don't fail because they're bad leaders. They fail because nobody gave them the tools to lead with clear expectations, have real (and tough) conversations or lead a team that runs without hovering.

That's the gap I work with leaders to fill.

I grew up in operations, from frontline worker to executive. I've led people and managed teams at every stage of an org's growth and in orgs of all sizes (startup to Fortune 50). I truly know what it feels like when the role is bigger than your experience.

I'm not a coach who teaches frameworks or theory. I'm someone who has done the work, will tell you what I see and work to help you succeed.

Real Talk: First-Time Manager Session

Nobody taught you how to manage people. You just got promoted & have to figure it out...usually the hard way. This session is for first-time managers at growing companies who are in the thick of it: team that's not clicking, conversation you're avoiding, a role expanding faster than your confidence. Bring whatever is most pressing. We'll work through it to get to what's actually happening, your options & what I'd be thinking if I were in your seat. You'll get real answers, not a framework.

Michelle is one of the most thoughtful and effective leaders I've had the privilege to work with. She has a unique ability to meet people where they are and help emerging leaders develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed. Her coaching style is practical, approachable, and grounded in real operational experience, making her an incredible resource for first-time managers navigating new challenges. I would recommend her without hesitation for anyone looking to level-up their leaders.
