Machiko Kimura

Konnichiwa! I'm Machiko, born and raised in Japan and now based in the UK, where I've spent over 25 years living between two cultures. That in-between experience is exactly what I bring to you.

I grew up in Shizuoka, studied English linguistics at university in Himeji, and worked in Tokyo before moving to England. So I know Japan from the inside — but I also know exactly where English speakers get stuck, because I've been on both sides.
