Lisa Harders

Lisa M. Harders is an equine educator, trainer, and program developer with over 46 years of teaching experience and 55 years of riding across multiple states, disciplines, and professional environments. She has taught riders and horses in Illinois, Virginia, Georgia, Wisconsin, and beyond, working in high‑performance dressage barns, large multi‑discipline lesson programs, rehabilitation facilities, and veterinary hospital settings.

Lisa taught Horsemanship as a for‑credit course through Northern Illinois University’s Physical Education Department and later completed her Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies from Post University. Her certifications include ARIA (Dressage), Cheff Center Therapeutic Riding Instruction, and Equissage Equine Sports Massage Therapy.

Her training philosophy integrates classical dressage, biomechanics, equine behavior, emotional intelligence, and whole‑horse wellness. She is also the developer of Optimus Equine Feed, a soy‑free, omega‑balanc
