# John Gulzari — I help organizations create belonging by hearing stories from people with lived experience

## About

As a refugee Entrepreneur, advocate and community leader who has lived through displacement, I help organizations build genuine connection and inclusion by centering the voices and experiences of people from refugee and migrant backgrounds. I work with teams to move beyond performative allyship toward real transformation—through keynote talks, storytelling workshops, and advisory work that shifts how people understand resilience, belonging, and the value of lived experience.

Most organizations talk about inclusion without actually hearing from the people they claim to support. I approach this differently: I bring authentic stories and practical frameworks that help teams understand what it means to truly listen and act. My work in entrepreneurship, community building, and social justice has taught me that change happens when organizations stop asking "How do we help?" and start asking "What can we learn from you?"
