I’ve spent my career in special education, working in roles ranging from direct student support and classroom teaching to alternative programming, transition services, IEP processes, compliance, and special education program coordination.
I help parents better understand their child’s IEP, prepare for meetings, organize their concerns, and identify questions to discuss with their child’s educational team. I also specialize in transition planning for students preparing for employment, postsecondary education or training, and adult life.
My goal is to make a complicated process easier to understand so families can participate in special education meetings feeling informed and prepared.

Preparing for life after high school can feel overwhelming. In this 45-minute session, we’ll discuss your student’s transition plan, strengths and interests, postsecondary education or training, employment, independent living, vocational experiences, community participation, and connections to adult services.
