I'm a D1 track & field and cross country coach at the University of Michigan — and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Exercise Physiologist (EP-C).
Most coaches build programs from tradition or intuition. That gets you somewhere. But the coaches and athletes I work with are looking for more than somewhere — they want to know why a session is built the way it is, and how to keep making it better.
I consult with coaches on program design, periodization, and athlete development — and work directly with competitive athletes who want training that's grounded in physiology, not just habit.
