I help nonprofit leaders solve fundraising, revenue, and organizational growth challenges.
I’m a nonprofit executive and Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with experience as an Executive Director, Development Director, and senior fundraising leader. I’ve led organizations through growth, revenue pressure, fundraising strategy, board dynamics, staffing, major gifts, planned giving, campaigns, and organizational change.
As Executive Director of the Humane Society of Ventura County, I led significant growth, including expanding staff from 25 to 42, generating $19.6 million in revenue over two years, and advancing a $40 million master plan. I’ve also served as Executive Director of the Conejo Free Clinic, Development Director of the Museum of Ventura County, and in senior development leadership with the American Cancer Society.
Today I’m the founder of Aspira Philanthropy. I help nonprofit leaders think through real fundraising, revenue, leadership, and organizational challenges—and decide what to do next.
Bring one nonprofit leadership decision or problem you need to think through. In 30 focused minutes, we’ll get clear on what’s actually happening, pressure-test your options, and identify the next move. Good for board dynamics, staffing, revenue or fundraising issues, CEO/development leadership questions, growth, organizational change, or other situations where an experienced nonprofit operator’s perspective would help.
Do you have an important donor conversation or ask coming up? Bring the relationship context, meeting goal, and anything you’re unsure about. In 45 focused minutes, we’ll sharpen your strategy: what you want from the meeting, how to frame the conversation, ask amount or range, sequencing, likely concerns, and the next step. Best for major gift asks, cultivation meetings, stewardship conversations, or other high-stakes donor interactions.
Bring the fundraising problem you’re actually trying to solve. In 60 focused minutes, we’ll look at what’s happening, what may be getting in the way, and where your attention should go next. Good for annual giving, major gifts, donor retention, revenue growth, development strategy, board engagement, staffing or systems issues, campaign questions, and other fundraising challenges that need experienced judgment rather than generic advice.
