I have found that most difficult decisions aren’t difficult because we need more advice. They’re difficult because facts, assumptions, competing values, obligations, emotions, risks, and constraints get tangled together—and that is before what I want enters the equation.
For more than 30 years, I worked with complicated human problems as a clinician, supervisor, program director, educator, and consultant. I hold a Ph.D. in Social Work and now work as a coach and consultant.
