I help founders and investors make confident technology decisions. Most recently I was CTO of an AI-powered edtech company. Today I run an independent practice doing technical due diligence for private equity and venture firms, AI readiness assessments for portfolio companies, and fractional CTO work for startups that need senior technical leadership. I also cofounded Color/Math, a multidisciplinary design firm.

Before tech, I was an astrophysicist. I earned a PhD in Computational Cosmology from Durham University and held research positions at the University of Chicago and Leiden, running supercomputer simulations of galaxy formation. That training shapes how I work: rigorous, data-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity.
