Finding your authentic voice
I teach voice, and I've been doing it for over 20 years. I'm a classically trained soprano (MMus, University of British Columbia), and that training taught me how much the voice carries: breath, tone, and what we hold back when we're afraid to be heard.
My lessons are for adults who want to sing or speak more freely, whether that's for performance, work, or simply feeling at home in their own voice. In our time together, we start with the voice itself and pay attention to what it shows us about how a person holds themselves. You don't need prior experience to begin.
I'm based in Edmonton, Alberta. Lessons are available online.
Your voice is the starting point. In each session, we work on vocal technique and exercises, and we talk about what you notice along the way. Some people come weekly, others every two weeks, and we’ll find the rhythm that suits you. Not sure yet? Let’s Talk First: a free conversation to see whether we’re the right fit.
