Ben Lorton

I'm a biochemist with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences. I work with researchers on the technical side—molecular biology, protein and nucleic acid purification, biophysical techniques, and experimental design—while also helping them explain what they're doing to people outside the lab.

I know molecular interactions inside out, from functional and structural perspectives. I've managed teams, communicated complex findings both in writing and in person, and spent years troubleshooting experiments in fast-paced environments. I genuinely enjoy learning new concepts and solving hard problems, which makes explaining difficult science something I'm actually good at.
