Mentoring and training for creatives just starting out, mid-career professionals or anyone wanting to change direction
I'm a graphic designer and creative tutor based in Sheffield, England with over 30 years of real-world experience. I work with people at every stage: beginners finding their way, mid-career professionals refining their craft or those switching into creative roles. I also mentor young people with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them engage with learning in all areas, but especially in creative subjects.
My expertise is in branding, illustration and web design. I'll happily do that for you, but I'd rather teach you to do it yourself!
I generally cover Adobe Creative Cloud apps, graphic design principles, and WordPress (both admin and creating themes).
Our sessions are tailored to how you actually work, blending technical skills with creative guidance. I am often called in to help complete a specific project where someone is struggling.
I also offer portfolio critiques and freelancing advice to help you navigate the business side of creative work.
