I help overwhelmed families and educators with struggling learners achieve clarity, targeted school support, and a collaborative seat at the decision-making table. I know that sinking feeling when your child/student is struggling in school and you don’t know where to turn. You sit at a conference table surrounded by specialists, handed thick packets of testing data, and leave feeling unheard. As a mother of three, I understand the fierce instinct to protect your child’s future. But I also understand exactly how the system they are navigating works.
My practice at AnchorUp Advocates is built on nearly two decades of viewing special education from every seat at the table: As an elementary educator: I know how 504 plans and IEP's function when implemented. I hold a M.Ed. in School Counseling, and I am an advocate. I meet you where you are - to help!:)
